PREPARATION AND APPLICATION
A requirement for students within the molecular imaging training grant is admission to the biomedical engineering graduate group. Minimum requirements are listed below, however, admission is highly competitive. Please contact Christal Wintersmith (cdwinter@ucdavis.edu) for application details.
General Undergraduate Preparation for Doctoral Degrees
- Classical Physics (2 quarters)
- Modern Physics (2 quarters)
- Calculus (4 quarters)
- Linear Algebra & Differential Equations
- Cellular Biology
- General Chemistry
- Engineering, 4 courses: programming, circuits, materials, and electrical systems
- Mathematical Statistics
Minimum overall GPA of 3.25 (out of 4.00)
GRE of 700 with a combined verbal and quantitative score of 1200
The M.S. degree is not a pre-requisite to the Ph.D.
