Postdoctoral Position in Computational Biology

Raychaudhuri lab has been developing theoretical and computational models of receptor ligand binding mediated cellular signaling processes and relevant biomedical applications. We are currently focusing on (i) B cell receptor clustering in the form of immunological synapses and synapse formation induced intracellular signaling (ii) cell death and growth signaling and diseases. Positions are open in my lab for graduate students and postdoctoral researchers to start immediately. We have recently received NIH funding for a proposal titled “A novel computational model of B cell signaling and activation”. Interested candidates should submit the following in PDF format: a letter of inquiry, a CV, a brief (one page) summary of current research, and a list of references to raychaudhuri@ucdavis.edu. Candidates with a background in computer simulation techniques such as molecular dynamics or Monte Carlo are encouraged to apply.
