QI LAB
Our research focuses on developing advanced signal and image processing techniques for molecular imaging with emphasis on positron emission tomography (PET), X-ray computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Advances in computer technology enable us to apply sophisticated data processing techniques to obtain high-resolution functional images and to analyze the dynamics of molecular tracers in vivo. Current projects include high-resolution image reconstruction, dynamic PET data analysis, image quality evaluation for system optimization, and information fusion in multimodality imaging. Our work is supported in part by NIH and DOE.
